The works in this series of Oil and cold wax medium paintings on wood panel are not intended to represent music literally but rather to explore its emotional power in a more abstract sense. A piece of music can only truly exist in space and time during its performance, but when the music stops and silence has returned its shadows persist in the memory. These paintings attempt to reveal those shadows.
